White Spots on Tonsils: Amazing Natural Remedy
Hello Milton here,
White spots on tonsils: I have always wondered what those “crumbs” on my tonsils were from the time I was a little boy. I’m a picker-I pick at everything trying to figure things out…pimples, grey hair, yes-my nose, and my tonsils too if they happen to have something in them. I’ve always known it wasn’t food and at that age I had NO idea what it could be, and wasn’t old enough to be worried about it. So, I never told anyone about it.
Hey before you get carried away with my story, you may:
I think it was in my teens when I felt some of this white stuff was like stuck at the back of my throat. I decided to use my finger to squish it. Immediate advice: If you want to smell something truly foul and I mean jerk-your -head back in revulsion foul squish these white spots on tonsils between your fingers like I did and smell! It made my breathe stink. I then went to the doctor with a sore throat, and asked him what was going on back there, and he passed me off with antibiotics. I finished the three week course of antibiotics, still sore and the white lumps started appearing and asked the doctor what was going on in my mouth?! the doctor didn’t know what they were.
In desperation I then resorted to the internet to find answers.. ”Googled” till the cows came home … Before getting to the cure, I found out that they were tonsil stones with others referring to them as cryptic tonsils, tonsilloliths or tonsiliths. I also discovered that more people get tonsil stones than you would think. I have 5 friends I can name off the top of my head that have had them at one time or another. Because it is such a disgusting problem to have, and because it is scary to think about when you don’t know what they are, people who do have them keep it to themselves. None of the 5 friends would have said anything about it if I had not initiated the conversation about the tonsil stones. They were relieved when I let them know that tonsil stones are actually common, and very rarely a sign of more serious problems. To me they were an annoyance that I had learnt to live with because the tonsil stones cause bad breathe.
On the worst of days, I couldn’t even breathe next to a person for fear of bad breath. In a crowded elevator, I had to hold my breath for like 2 minutes (I became skilled at holding my breath!). These white spots on tonsils became the bane of my life.
With time I became an expert in how to dislodge tonsile stones, and usually wouldn’t know they were there until they dislodged themselves and came out on their own. Tired of coughing up tonsil stones I began entertaining the idea of having my tonsils removed completely through tonsillectomy (surgery for removal of tonsils). My longing for fresh breathe was pushing me to this. Are you also leaning toward tonsillectomy? Well if you are… sit-up and read why I did not go through it. My thinking was once my tonsils were removed then I will NOT experience tonsil stones. However this does NOT mean that I was to run out and get my tonsils removed. I was told that as we get older, tonsillectomies become increasingly dangerous, but aside from that, even if you have your tonsils removed, you will most likely still have bad breath! Why is that? You see, the sulfur producing bacteria breeding beneath the surface of your tongue (which are integral to creation of those tonsil stones) are also the most likely candidates to cause bad breath! So, even if tonsils are removed, unless you remove or hinder these anaerobic bacteria, friends or family would still exhibit those tell-tale signs that YOU have bad breath! (i.e. offering you gum, twitching at their nose etc.). One stupid thought was “cut your tongue!” Such had been my debilitating social life that I had such a crazy thought. If ever there was a cure for this I was determined to find it. Indeed I finally found the cure and it changed my life forever -my tongue is still intact and I have fresh breath. What is the cure? you may be wondering.. I’ll tell you more about my life before being tonsil stones free first. But for those of us with curiosity-I mean major curiosity… promise me you will read the rest of the story despite knowing the cure.

I was also reminded that tonsils act as a barrier to protect our throat against bacteria and viruses. Our throat area comprises of the “Waldeyer’s Ring”, consisting tonsils, adenoids, and several kinds of lymphoid tissues. This tonsillar ring protects foreign bodies from entering our pharynx and helps in avoiding common infections related to the throat. And following tonsillectomy, one risks a chance to catch debris. Nevertheless, the tonsils will grow back. Hence, I was told surgery was not a permanent way to alleviate my problems. Though once a popular treatment, tonsillectomy is now considered by several healthcare professionals only in rare cases.
With no answers I continued with my search for a remedy. One day, “googling” as usual, I came across this guide with a natural home remedy, that claimed to get rid of tonsil stones forever within a week! I was skeptical initially but I got the biggest surprise once I tried it. It took me 8 days though to get rid of my tonsil stones and not the 7 days that was stated in the book. What the heck! – I am now smelling fresh , no more tactical dislodging of tonsil stones or coughing them out. It however pains me to relate this now given my years of suffering in silence yet out there was a solution.

I hope my story on these white spots on tonsils will motivate you and bring fresh breathe to your life!!
